We specialize in providing fast, effective care when you need it most. Here’s how we work with clients to uncover what they need to find relief and reach recovery:
Your RMT will provide a comprehensive intake and interview to fully understand the reason for your appointment, and your medical history.
Based on your interview, your RMT will make an educated, clinical assessment of what’s causing your pain and discomfort.
Following assessment and massage, your RMT will discuss a treatment plan and the expected results. Your treatment plan may also include details for returning to hobbies and physical activities.
For more information on what to expect from the massage itself, you may also watch the ‘What to expect from your first visit’ video created by Registered Massage Therapists Association of British Columbia at https://www.rmtbc.ca/rmt-and-you/firstvisit.
Before Your Appointment
If there are any specific preparations required for your appointment, you will be advised prior to your appointment day.
Your First Appointment
In your first appointment, your RMT will do a comprehensive intake and ask you about your medical history related to the reason of your appointment. After better assessing you and your condition, your RMT will discuss your treatment plan and expected results. As needed, your treatment will also include a gradual plan to return to hobbies and physical activities.
As a reference, you may also watch the ‘What to expect from your first visit’ video created by Registered Massage Therapists Association of British Columbia at https://www.rmtbc.ca/rmt-and-you/firstvisit.
Your RMT may follow up with you after your appointment, if needed. If you have any questions or concerns about your appointment or your condition, call us.
You are always invited to provide feedback about the services and our clinics. We take feedback seriously, and we implement comprehensive quality improvements plans to better serve you, every day.
After Your Appointment
Your RMT will continue to evaluate your condition and how you are feeling in every session. You should expect a portion of your visit to be used to review your treatment plan. Techniques utilized during your appointment will be chosen according to clinical findings and condition progress.
