Core Values

Achieve Excellence – Do What it Takes

We strive to be the best at everything we do, and continually evaluate our services in order to improve them. We accept responsibility for our actions, and do whatever it takes in order to achieve excellence.

Ask Questions – Seek Solutions

We recognize we do not have all of the answers, and work together to provide solutions. We provide an environment of trust, which is an essential prerequisite to ask questions and learn from mistakes.

Teamwork – Achieve More Together

We believe we can accomplish more as a cohesive team than as a group of individuals. Our strength lies in working together in a coordinated way to achieve collective goals. Everybody in our organization plays a unique and critical role in our success.

Respect All – Always

We believe that everybody we work with deserves respect at all times, and that accurate, timely, and continuous communication is essential. We value input from everybody, and respect differences of opinion.

Measure Up – Evidence-Informed Practices & Innovation

We provide disability management, rehabilitation and employment services founded upon a solid research base. We keep abreast of the literature, and share what we learn.

Honour Our Word – Do the Right Thing

In order to satisfy customers, clients, and staff, we follow through with our promises. We make decisions guided by a strong sense of corporate ethics, and follow our principles to ensure we do the right thing.

Our Commitment to Excellence in Health Service Delivery

With a desire to bring excellence in allied health service delivery within reach of more British Columbians, Legacies Health Centre has partnered with Back in Motion Rehab Inc. in 2017. Back in Motion and Legacies Health Centre share a similar purpose, core values, and commitment to excellence and customer service. Currently, both companies employ close to 350 dedicated professionals who serve approximately 25,000 individuals annually. Read more about Back in Motion Rehab Inc. and Back in Motion Health.

Insurance Claims & Information

Get Back to Health after an Accident or Workplace Injury.

Extended Health Coverage

Legacies Health Centre offers direct billing to most Extended Health plans to the majority of our services. Some services (like Clinical Counselling), do not offer direct billing. In such instances, Legacies provides a medical receipt to be used on request for reimbursement. See an updated list of providers by clicking the ‘Learn More’ button below.

ICBC Insurance Claims

Legacies Practitioners, including Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Kinesiologists, all have extensive experience in administering ICBC treatments. We are here to help! Click the ‘learn more’ button for additional details.

WorkSafeBC Claims

Workplace injuries are usually due to trauma or overuse. If you have been injured as a result of a workplace activity, our team of experts at Legacies can perform a comprehensive assessment and develop a treatment plan to reduce your symptoms and rehabilitate your injury.

If your claim is approved by WSBC, your initial assessment is 100% covered with a WorkSafeBC Claim number. Once your claim has been accepted by WorkSafeBC, the full treatment cost of your appointments will be funded (within the approved time parameters). When you are ready, your physiotherapist will work with you, your employer, physician, and WorkSafeBC Case Manager to develop a safe and appropriate return to work plan. If your claim has been denied or is disallowed, the expenses will need to be covered by the Patient
