Missing your RMT?
July 22nd, 2021
I’ve been getting many emails and messages from patients saying how much they miss their Massage Therapy Treatments. Trust me! The Massage Therapists miss their patients, too! When aches and pains arise or are anticipated, the Massage Therapy team is there, ready to help with musculoskeletal issues. And as much as we wish the technology were available to reach through the screen during this time of quarantine and staying home, unfortunately there’s very little we can do to help. However, many studies cited by then British Journal of Sports Medicine state that one of the best ways to fight aches and pain is movement. Getting the blood flowing through exercise helps with most of the common aches and pains we as RMT’s see in the clinic! The most common benefits are increasing: – Metabolic rate – Sleep quality -Brain function and mental wellness And decreasing: -Arthritic, fibromyalgia, back and chronic disease pain -Depression and anxiety and related pains Thankfully, we have solutions for you while you’re at home! Many of our Therapy team members are eligible and available NOW to help guide you through managing your pain until such time as our clinics open again to serve you.
